The BlueAction Fini (or Bae-Fini) headset is a pretty good bluetooth headset. As per the norm, it features a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and is Bluetooth 2.0 compatible. It also boasts 200% longer talk time than a normal Bluetooth headset on the box, but in my comparisons that really didn't pan out.
What I do like about it though is the design, it is extremely light and compact and features no button. It only has a single button hidden under the logo. Unfortunately, having only one button also means you don’t have a lot of control over the device. Instead to get most of the functionality out of it you have to push and hold for a certain amount of time or push twice, and there is no way to control the volume on the actual headset. But if you’re looking for something sleek, it definitely fits the bill.
While not an advertised point, the ear loop is entirely optional, and in fact I found the device to be much more comfortable without it. The ear-bud is well designed, fitting comfortably and snugly in your ear all by itself, removing the need for the much more cumbersome ear attachment. All by itself, it stayed in place even during rigorous activity.
The last and probably most important thing for a headset though is the sound and microphone quality. Unfortunately, it sounds like a regular headset for the most part. It doesn’t sound great or bad, but has the same distant sound that most headsets in it's pricerange have.
In conclusion, it’s a great looking, comfortable headset, but the quality and functionality leave a tad to be desired.
